Camping in Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, NC
Not everyone likes to sleep on a bed and Pleasure Island has a few different options for camping.
Two of the camping areas are in walking distace to the beach and all are close to water. Like
everywhere else in the area, Pleasure Island campgrounds are well-maintained and professionally
operated.

(910) 458-1098Carolina Beach State Park has 83 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and grill. Bath houses with hot showers are within walking distance of all the sites. It costs $15 per day to camp. RVs are welcome.

The Carolina Beach Family Campground is just across the bridge from Carolina Beach. They have large wooded camp sites, a pool, hot showers, laundry and a general store. RVs are welcome.

This campgraound is for authorized Department of Defense personnel only. It's located in a shady area that overlooks the Cape Fear River and has all the amenities you need including rentals, laundry facilities, an arcade, a restaurant and easy beach access.
