The Cape Fear Museum of History and Science is the oldest history museum in North Carolina. It tells the stories of the area's history, science and cultures through exhibitions and educational programs. They have new exhibits all the time, so you'll always see something new.

Greenfield Lake is a historic treasure located near downtown Wilmington. There is a 5 mile walking/biking path around the entire 90 acres of lake. You can rent kayaks, canoes or paddleboats or take a nature tour guided by a certified naturalist.

The Wilmington Railroad Museum has a great collection of displays that are fun and educational. A real life-size caboose, a steam locomotive and a Thomas the Tank Engine play area are just some of the great things to see.
